Eject Script Version 0.4

Thursday, July 26th, 2007

Changed the script so it will allow Ejected drives that report themselves as “Fixed” this applies to some USB attached hard drives. The can be overridden in the EjectScript.ini file, add the option FIXEDOK=0 to disable fixed drives.

I have been playing with a configuration dialog for the script to set all the INI options, but it’s not that high on the priority list.

Wednesday, July 18th, 2007

Added optional prompt before starting to close any apps, and before running the external eject script. Better for those who click on the wrong thing occasionally like I do.

Eject Script Version 0.2

Monday, July 16th, 2007

Updated to show the drive type in the /SHOW output, and if any windows are found with an executable on the removable drive, it will run a second loop through the window close routine.  This will hopefully get a few more of the uncooperative programs to close correctly.

And has the ability to run an external program after it has finished running, or pop up the operating systems “Safely Remove Hardware” dialog.
